  • Application Window

    • The bursary portal for the 2024/25 academic year is now closed.
    • The 2025/26 bursary application portal is now live and open for applications.
      If you need help with applying, you can request an appointment by emailing [email protected]

     

  • Hardship Cases

    • If you are in hardship, please speak with your progress coach or student mentor for support and guidance.

You can login using your college Microsoft account.

Temporary Account Registration for New Students

If you are a new student and do not yet have a Student ID, or if you are trying to register using your Student ID and it is not currently working, please click the button below to register for a temporary account.

Our bursary team will then link this temporary account to your student record once you enrol.

Please note: If you do not enrol by 10.09.2025, your temporary account may be deactivated.

Register for an account with Your Student ID

If this is your first time applying online for financial support, please enter your details and create a password. If you have applied previously and your login details no longer work, you will need to re-register.

Helpful Hints:

  • Your Student Number: This can be found at the bottom of your College ID card (e.g., SMI123456789).

  • Missing Activation Link: The activation email will be sent to your University of Derby Unimail account (e.g., [email protected]).
    Please note: This cannot be changed to a personal email address.

  • If you do not receive the activation email, it may be because your enrolment record has not yet been created—even if you were a student with us previously.
    Please email [email protected], and we will manually activate your account within 3–5 working days.
